Please note that Mozilla Lightning/Sunbird software and still very much under development.

• As of Sunbird 0.8 with ZCS 5.06, one can subscribe to a Zimbra calendar in order to view and modify items. However, things are still quirky.
• As of 5.0RC1 and earlier, Calendar events cannot be 'deleted' from Sunbird. They must be marked as 'Status: Canceled' through the menu Options -> Status -> Canceled .

HOWTO

Follow these steps to get your calendar to display in Sunbird:

• File > Subscribe to Remote Calendar > Create a new calendar "on the network" >
• Format: iCalendar (ICS)
• Location: https://zimbra.anl.gov/zimbra/home/username/calendar?fmt=ics (replace "username" with your Zimbra account username.)

Lightning/Sunbird Feedback

• If I set a reminder on an appointment in ZCS 5.06, then disable the reminder in Sunbird 0.8, the reminder doesn't get removed from Zimbra. Instead Sunbird adds it again from Zimbra during its next update.) --Lehman 22:00, June 15, 2008 (CDT)
