List of possible symptoms
- VME buffer number goes to 0 and remains there -> [solution 1, solution 2]
- Rate windows, and possibly other windows too, are unresponsive (usually grey out) [solution 1]
- Time stamps are out of lock [solution 3]
- Trace window will not update [solution 4]
- Following error comes up on after IOC boot -> No known solution!

Solutions
1) Input/Output Controller (IOC) has lost contact with the system. Solutions include, i) "soft" reboot of individual IOC, ii) "hard" reboot of IOC, or iii) restart of entire system. Try them in the corresponding order written above.
