problem: slow connection through NAT box
We see that the connection through the NAT boxes is slow and sometimes halt altogether.
solutions:
- log out and log back in
- put a linux box on the local network under the NAT box
- try a better NAT box with a better WAN/LAN speed (still to be tested)
