The temperature monitor shows the temperatures in each detector. The detectors, each having a unique number ID from 1 - 110, are grouped together by the "hemisphere" of [[Gammasphere]] they're in, where the northern hemisphere has the odd numbered detectors, and the southern hemisphere has the even numbered detectors.

The Ge needs to be maintained at a certain temperature at all times, and if it surpasses a certain temperature, the detector becomes in need of repair.
