Introduction

When you start using Carbon, you will automatically be enrolled in an announcement mailing list named cnm-hpc-ann, using the email address you chose to communicate with the CNM.

The same address will also be stored on Carbon, and used there for mails about job completion, aborts, and other errors.

Unsubscribe instructions

Like in other mailing list managers, you can initiate requests by email. An alternative web interface, unfortunately, is only reachable inside Argonne.

To unsubscribe from Carbon's announcement mailing list by email, send a message to a special list management address. A moment later, you will receive a confirmation mail, to prevent unauthorized removals. Confirm your intent at the link therein.

If you can still send mail from your subscription address

Select one of these links. Your mail program will open so send a new mail. If you have more than one mail account, select the one you used to subscribe.

unsubscribe

If you no longer can send from your subscribed address

From one of your current account, use an advanced form of the unsubscribe command above and specify your old address as a parameter:

 unsubscribe [email protected]
