If the vyu or vyd motor reaches its hard limit it gets pinned.
Solution:
1. In the EPICS motor screen: stop the motion
2. Disable the torque, specify a position in range and then enable the torque
In some cases the software intervention does not allow to overcome the pinning. In those cases the motor must be moved by hand:
1. Turn off the power of the controller. This is very important because otherwise the motor will be damaged.
2. Manually turn the pinned motor back to the middle position.
In order to avoid this problem soft-limits have to be carefully chosen.
