TRACC has acquired a new cluster computer from Atipa Technologies. The cluster is named Zephyr.

Zephyr is currently undergoing acceptance testing. It should be available for early user testing in the next week or two. See Zephyr and Phoenix Cluster Configurations for details of TRACC's two cluster computers. See Zephyr Early User Testing for details of the test procedures.

You will be able to log into Zephyr when it becomes available using the command

login.zephyr.tracc.anl.gov

TRACC's existing cluster computer from Linux Networx will remain in service and has been renamed "Phoenix". You are now able to log into Phoenix using the command

login.phoenix.tracc.anl.gov

You will still be able to use the old commands without the term Phoenix, but it is recommended that you start using the new form of the commands including the term Phoenix.
